I like it, but I don’t fully trust yet.
One of my favorite photos of my son and I. I'm being caught doing what I do most, which is writing. I love writing, whether for live performance, for screen, and now for letters. My hope with this project is to see people encouraged and reminded of who they are by engaging with the power of story.
Each month I'll write about people who have inspired me. I'll write about moments of my own life and share what I have learned along the way. There has been beauty, failure, grief, and a resounding hope that doesn't seem to leave. I'm an actor at heart so nothing seizes my curiosities more than an interesting character.
Those characters will usually find themselves around themes of history, faith, and purpose. Hearing about those who've lived incredible stories, and aspiring to live my true story, is what I love to share about. I believe each one of us are gifted with a uniqueness that when lived out to its true nature is nothing short of fascinating. I find that the journey to become who we really are is where all the good stories lie.
I'm so grateful that I have the opportunity to tell stories in this way, and writing to you each month is my great honor.
